Dave Nicholas has an underwriting background that spans over 35 years. He spent the first 10 years working for a direct insurer before moving to Gen Re, London in 1997. He was Chief Underwriter for the UK and Ireland from 2010–2018 and Head of Operations from 2018 to 2020. He is now Segment Chief Underwriter for the CUSAC region (Canada, South Africa, Australia, NZ, UK & Ireland).
