Shamen Raja is the Claims Manager for Gen Re South Africa based in Cape Town. She is a qualified Occupational Therapist with 19 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Gen Re, Shamen worked at a direct insurer and spent ten years in claims. Thereafter, she spent five years in product development, assisting with the development of a new-to-market insurance product, including the claims system and processes.
