Matt is Senior VP, Treaty Account Underwriter, and the Lead Commercial Umbrella Underwriter with The Mutual Practice. Matt also holds some client account underwriting responsibilities. He began his Gen Re career in Casualty Facultative in New York and has worked as a Treaty Account Executive in New York and Hartford before moving to Stamford's Treaty department with a focus on Personal Umbrella business. Before joining Gen Re, Matt worked at Continental Insurance Corporation as a Commercial Lines underwriter. Matt graduated with honors, including Phi Beta Kappa, from the Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s degree in economics and financial management.
